In July, we welcomed Kardie Tobb, DO, MS, FACC, to the Cone Health Foundation Board of Directors. Dr Tobb is the Medical Director and founder of the Cone Health Heart and Vascular Cardio-Obstetrics/Women’s Heart Health program. As a non-invasive preventative cardiologist, her areas of interest include cardiometabolic disease prevention and women’s cardiovascular health. Her global research interest includes understanding the impact of social drivers of health on clinical outcomes, and working to address those outcomes.

Dr. Tobb also serves as the Clinical Integration Officer with Cone Health Center for Equity, where she develops strategies to improve access to care for individuals from medically underserved and under-resourced backgrounds. Dr. Tobb grew up in Bong Mine, Liberia and has lived in the Greensboro area since August 2020. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and two young daughters. Her natural passion for fashion and style has led her to be the creative director and founder of the brand Tobbstars, which features authentic handcrafted leather handbags using traditional African fabrics.

We are thrilled that she will bring her passion and expertise to the Foundation’s Board of Directors as we work to advance health equity in Greensboro.
