Please join us in celebrating the incredible career of Vicki P. Walker, who is retiring this year after 13 years as Finance & Grants Manager at Cone Health Foundation and more than 35 years with Cone Health.
Vicki’s journey has been as impressive as it is inspiring—beginning with community radio work during her time at UNCG, to key roles in the legal and accounting fields, and eventually into health care, where she last served as Executive Assistant to the president of Annie Penn Hospital. At Cone Health Foundation, Vicki has been a steady, kind, and essential presence. She’s also doubled as our copy editor with her “eagle eye” and grammatical expertise!
Her patience, empathy, and dedication have touched every member of our team. Vicki brought not only professionalism but also a generous spirit and genuine compassion that made our workplace brighter.
As she steps into this next chapter, we honor her legacy and thank her for the lasting impact she’s made. Congratulations, Vicki—you will be missed, and we wish you all the best in your retirement!
