Earlier this month, CHF celebrated the graduates of the 32nd Class of Other Voices Diversity Leadership program. The program brings together individuals from all walks of life to engage in frank, open dialogue aimed at building insight and understanding about the roots of prejudice. Designed as a community-building curriculum, it empowers participants to explore how oppression affects their daily lives, share experiences across cultural lines, examine personal biases, and develop clear strategies for addressing these issues — individually, in the workplace, and in the wider community.

Participants engage deeply, defining the issues they face, building a shared vision for change, and learning actionable steps to foster inclusivity and equity. Through this work, Other Voices nurtures leaders who are committed to transforming not only their immediate environments but the broader community.

This year’s cohort features an inspiring group of leaders, including CHF sponsored participants: Sabrina Breeden, Director of Program Service, Triad Goodwill of Central NC; Tiarra Brown, Director of Community Engagement, Greensboro Housing Coalition; Fanta Dorley, Business Officer, NC A&T State University; Agatha Grimes, Owner, Pink Kotur Hair Salon; Franca Jalloh, Founder and Executive Director, Jalloh’s Upright Services of NC; Kristina Meyer, Immigrant Assistance Center Manager, Faith Action International; and Melvin Sauls, Dealer Inventory Manager, Volvo & Mack.
