It’s already been an exciting 2025 for Jamilla Pinder, Director, Community Engagement and Impact at Cone Health Foundation. On February 4, Jamilla was sworn in as the newest member of Greensboro’s City Council. filling the seat of the late Yvonne Johnson. This month, Jamilla was selected for the Philanthropy Southeast’s Janine Lee Learning & Leadership Collaborative (JLLC). The JLLC further equips leaders to be social change agents who engage with the structural, relational, and transformational conditions of systems change to advance equity and justice within their organizations and communities.
Jamilla will continue her impactful work at Cone Health Foundation while participating in the Collaborative and serving Greensboro’s residents as a member of the city council. Congratulations to Jamilla on these remarkable achievements—we look forward to her ongoing contributions to the community.
