Yazmin Garcia Rico, Director of Community Engagement and Impact, has been named to Triad Business Journal’s 2025 Class of 40 Under 40 list. Before joining CHF in May, Yazmin was the Director of Latinx and Hispanic Policy and Strategy for NCDHHS, where she led transformative work during the Covid-19 pandemic and developed innovative strategies to reach and enroll the Hispanic/Latinx population in expanded Medicaid. We are grateful for her tenacity and commitment to justice and equity.
